Sacred Heart is a close, supportive and welcoming community of families. There are many opportunities for parents to be actively involved in the children's educational experience. We have a very active Home and School Association which plans many fun activities for the kids and the families such as the Back to School Skating Party and Family Halloween Party. Parents can be involved in the classrooms through programs such as Art Enrichment and Room Parents. The Parent Mentor Program pairs each new family with an existing family and brings them together at the Welcome to School Parent Social in August. As a Preschool through 8th grade school, the children have the advantage of learning from one another. Our Guardian Angel Program pairs younger and older students for special programs. This reinforces the importance of leadership, responsibility and modeling of moral behavior for the older students and encourages the younger students to strive for excellence like their guardian angels. The Athletic Association coordinates the many sporting teams of SHS and the coaches. In addition they organize the Annual Morello Golf Outing and other fun sports-themed events.
